Introduction

CreativePass is a professional photo and video editing application that allows users to apply Look-Up Tables (LUTs), color grading, and visual effects to media. We are committed to protecting your privacy and providing complete transparency regarding how data is handled within the app.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, how long it is retained, and whether it is shared with any third parties.

Information We Collect

1. Information You Provide

  • Photos and Videos: When you import or capture media, CreativePass processes those files locally on your device to apply edits.

  • LUT Files: Custom LUTs you import are stored locally on your device.

2. Device Permissions

With your permission, CreativePass may access:

  • Camera (to capture photos/videos)

  • Microphone (to record audio with video)

  • Photo Library (to import/export media)

All such data is processed locally on your device.

3. Technical Information

We may collect limited technical information for functionality and improvement:

  • Device model

  • iOS version

  • App version

  • Anonymous feature usage statistics (only if you opt in)

This information does not identify you personally.

Face Data Policy (Biometric & Facial Information)

This section specifically addresses facial data handling in compliance with platform privacy requirements.

Does CreativePass Collect Face Data?

CreativePass does not collect, store, transmit, retain, or share any face data or biometric identifiers.

The app does not perform facial recognition, face tracking, face mapping, biometric analysis, or identity detection.

Why Face Data May Be Temporarily Processed

If a user edits a photo or video that contains a human face, the image itself may include a face as part of the visual content. In such cases:

  • The face is treated only as part of the image pixels.

  • No facial geometry, landmarks, templates, or biometric identifiers are extracted.

  • The app does not analyze or identify faces.

Reason for temporary processing:
The image must be rendered in memory so LUTs and visual effects can be applied. This is required for basic image editing functionality.

Storage of Face Data

CreativePass does not store face data.

If an image containing a face is processed:

  • Processing occurs in volatile device memory only.

  • The image data exists only long enough to render the edit preview or export.

  • No facial data is saved separately from the image.

  • No biometric data is ever created or stored.

Retention Period

Because CreativePass does not extract or store face data:

  • Retention period for face data: 0 seconds after processing.

  • Once processing is complete or the app session ends, any temporary in-memory image buffers are cleared automatically by the operating system.

This immediate disposal occurs because the app only needs the image temporarily to apply edits.

Third-Party Sharing of Face Data

CreativePass does not share face data with any third parties because:

  • We do not collect it

  • We do not store it

  • We do not transmit it

Therefore:

  • No vendors receive face data

  • No partners process face data

  • No analytics providers access face data

Third-Party Storage of Face Data

Since CreativePass never transmits face data to any third party:

No third party ever receives or stores face data from CreativePass.
